The Summer 2024 Internship program at Vevo is a paid opportunity designed as a unique opportunity for qualified individuals to gain hands-on experience while learning about the music industry.
Vevo is on the lookout for an enthusiastic intern who shares our dedication to the art of video production.
As a Production Intern, you'll have the opportunity to participate in comprehensive training sessions covering everything from camera techniques to pre-production, production, and post-production workflows that make a shoot possible.
Under the mentorship of our Creative & Logistics teams, you'll delve into the intricacies of video production and logistics management, gaining invaluable insights and skills along the way. Whether you're shadowing the camera or coordinating behind the scenes, every moment will be a chance to refine your craft and expand your horizons.
This part-time, in-person position is based at our studio in Brooklyn and office in Times Square. This offers a unique chance to be part of studio shoots and the potential to join Tier 1 projects. You’ll be working closely with industry professionals to elevate your capabilities. Guided by Vevo's Senior Producers, you'll be at the forefront of innovative productions, contributing your talent and enthusiasm to every shoot day.
As a Member Of Our Team, You Will
- Assist with treatment creation
- Learn how to communicate with various vendors + suppliers
- Database management
- Assist with studio management tasks
- PA responsibilities on set
- Project Administration
- Shadow across various production sub-departments on set
- Prior production internship experience
- Interest in live production and content capture
- Strong organizational and research skills
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and work cross-functionally
- Proficient with Mac OS and experience with Google Docs and MS Office
- Creative thinker with high work motivation, follow through, initiative, and ability to multitask
- Rising Junior and Senior currently enrolled in a college or university
- Desire to pursue a career in the music industry
- 20 hours per week June 4th - August 8th 2024 (Limited, occasional Sat & Sun hours could be required)
- Discretion and professionalism when working with high-profile talent
- Ability to work on-site
This is a part-time position based on-site in our Brooklyn Studio.
