Job Description - Supply Chain Business Analyst Intern

We are looking to source one talented and ambitious Business Analyst based in Logitech’s Cork Office in Ireland to be part of our Supply Chain Project Management team.  
 

What does the role offer for you?

Your role will be to work with the Supply Chain Business Analyst team on Supply Chain projects and CIP enhancements related to Logitech's Supply planning system.  

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where you will get exposure to deep subject matter expertise and gain an understanding of key Supply Chain business functions. You will work with multiple teams both locally in Cork and globally, supported by cutting edge office telecommunications platforms. You will play a key role in our project team and get exposure to full project delivery lifecycles which focus on areas such as business requirements gathering and testing system functionality.

Some of the projects in our Pipeline for next year are:

  • Upgrade to WebUI

  • Direct import / Direct Ship

  • Free trade Zone 

  • Demand Planning

  • Excess & Obsolete Inventory Management

As a part of our Internship Program , you will get a chance to network with other Interns on site from different departments Various initiatives of our Internship Program where you will have an opportunity to participate in include:

  • Meet the leader sessions: A chance to meet the leaders in Logitech and hear about their career journeys and ask them questions

  • Previous interns sharing experiences :  A chance to hear from some previous interns who have joined us on a permanent basis and learn from their experience.

  • CV and LinkedIn Profile Workshop

  • Design Thinking sessions and Projects

  • Public Speaking sessions

  • Intern Social Events.
     

What are the learnings & skills you can develop?

  • You will work closely with our Senior Business Analysts, Global Transformation team, Digital Platforms team and Development functions to create & improve system functionality.

  • Your role in testing will include:

    • Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing across desktop and mobile web responsive device platforms.

    • Develop test scripts incorporating test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, integration, performance and user acceptance tests as required. 

    • Execute test scripts

    • Record problems and issues 

    • Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process. 

  • This will help you to gain an understanding of testing concepts, the different phases of testing and how testing fits in with the overall project life cycle.
     

Other aspects of the role which we would encourage you to build on your existing skills include:

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player, and enjoy working in an environment that requires continuous learning

  • Develop your communication skills both written and verbal, including presentation skills

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives which will ultimately result in the achievement of global standard processes

  • Proficient project management and collaboration tools like our Google Suite of Products and PowerPoint

  • Work towards the achievement of KPI targets.
