The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of high-impact vendors related to Demand Planning, Forecasting, Buying, Vendor Performance, and Inventory Management to maximize product availability, margins, and inventory turns. This involves reviewing supply chain operations using data to identify issues, defining action plans to eliminate defects, and building relationships with customers and teams to leverage improvements. The role requires an autonomous individual who can handle tactical and strategic activities in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar field
  • Solid experience in Supply Chain management and project management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Fluent in English
Good to have:
  • Experience with SAP, IBP, or other large ERP and Planning systems
  • Chinese language proficiency

Position Summary:

Greenworks US is looking for a retail Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Mooresville, NC. In this position, you will be responsible for autonomously driving the strategy and execution of high-impact vendors related to Demand Planning, Forecasting, Buying, Vendor Performance, and Inventory Management to maximize product availability, margins, and inventory turns. The right candidate thrives in a high-energy and fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel and where they can work autonomously.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Specialist will drive, design, and manage scalable solutions to improve Inventory metrics, Planning, Buying, and vendor operational excellence, creating a role model E2E process. The main goal is to assure Greenworks that it will fulfill customer needs, have an optimal inventory level, and have minimum working capital to support Product Family growth.

  • Supply Chain operation review using a large amount of data to identify the root cause of operational issues.
  • Define action plans and projects to eliminate defects on the Supply Chain, creating sustainable results in the long term.
  • Cooperate and build relationships with the Customers, Product Family Team, and Sales Teams to leverage improvements.

 

 Required Education and Experience:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business Administration, or similar Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics discipline.
  • Solid experience in Supply Chain management, performance metrics, and project management.
  • Strong ownership, analytical skills, ability with numbers, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • High level of self-organization, prioritization, and time management.
  • Fluent in English, Chinese is a plus.
  • Flexible, action and results-oriented, self-starting, autonomous, and comfortable with large databases and tools.
  • Experience with SAP, IBP, or other large ERP and Planning systems.
  • Ability to understand needs and drive alternative solutions for operational processes.
  •

  • Observe and detect details at close range.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • Climb stairs, stationary position (Sit/Stand 50% of time).
  • Position self by stooping, kneeling, transport, or position boxes weighing 5 -20 pounds or more.
  • Operate office equipment including computers, copiers, and printers.
  • Occasionally exposed to weather elements.
