Job Summary

Job Description

As a Technical Artist, you will bridge the gap between the art and programming teams. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing technical tools, constructing workflows for art creation and engine integration, and supporting the verification and optimization of art assets. You will solve problems encountered during art asset integration to ensure maximum visual quality. Furthermore, you will create and manage technical documentation related to art-related workflows and tools. This role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams, ensuring that artistic visions are realized with meticulous attention to detail.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience with Unity 3D engine
  • Basic knowledge of Unity scene management and prefab assembly
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling/animation software
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar
  • Deep understanding of 2D/3D animation and color theory
  • Ability to communicate in English
Good to have:
  • Experience in C#, Python, or Mel scripting
  • Shader coding using HLSL, CG, or ShaderLab
  • Experience using Unity Shader Graph and VFX Graph
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D rigging, animation, and compositing
  • Understanding of traditional animation principles
  • Experience with performance profiling and debuggers
  • Experience in VFX, motion graphics, photography, or video editing

・アートチームとプログラミングチームの橋渡し
・技術ツールの調査および開発
・アート制作とエンジンへの統合におけるワークフローの構築
・アートアセットの検証および最適化のサポート
・アートアセット統合時の問題を解決し、最大限のビジュアル品質を確保
・アート関連のワークフローやツールに関する技術ドキュメントの作成および管理

必須スキル
・Unity 3Dエンジンでの実務経験が2年以上
・Unityのシーン管理、プレハブの組み立て、Shuriken(パーティクルシステム)、ライティング、マテリアルなどの基本的な知識
・Maya、3Ds Max、Blender、Houdini、Cinema 4Dなどの3Dモデリング/アニメーションソフトのいずれかに習熟していること
・Adobe Photoshopまたは同等のツールに習熟していること
・2D/3Dアニメーション、コンポジット、色彩理論に関する深い理解
・英語でのコミュニケーションが可能

歓迎スキル
・C#、Python、Melスクリプト、Unityエディタツールの開発経験
・HLSL、CG、ShaderLabを使ったシェーダーコーディング
・Unity Shader GraphおよびVFX Graphの使用経験
・2D/3Dのリギング、アニメーション、コンポジティングの知識
・伝統的なアニメーション原則の理解
・パフォーマンスプロファイリング、Unity Frame Debugger、XcodeのMetal Debuggerの使用経験
・VFX、モーショングラフィックス、写真、映像編集の経験
