Job Description

The Technical Operations Manager will handle technical operations requests, troubleshoot transaction and payment method issues, and maintain payment system efficiency. Responsibilities include interacting with payment systems, analyzing payment problems, and collaborating with related departments. The ideal candidate should have experience in Fintech or payments, a strong understanding of payment systems and web architecture, and proficiency in English and Russian. The role involves rolling out client customization for new payment methods, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of payment processes, which requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. SOFTSWISS is an international company and an iGaming software expert.
Must have:
  • Experience in Fintech or Payments industry.
  • Understanding of Payment System.
  • Knowledge of transactions flow.
  • Knowledge of the basics of WEB architecture.
  • Proficiency in both English and Russian.
Good to have:
  • Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gitlab.
  • Experience with monitoring systems (ELK).
  • Understanding of information and application security, SSH, access credentials.

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Technical Operations Manager.

We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handling technical operations requests from first line support about transactions issues and Payment Methods work
  • Roll out a customization of new Clients Customization Payment Methods on the Client’s web-site
  • Technical troubleshooting about transactions and Payment Methods
  • Maintaining the efficiency of payment systems
  • Interaction with payment systems
  • Analysis and identification of patterns in problems with payments with subsequent reporting
  • Interaction with related departments (2nd line, Finance, Account managers, B2C…)

Requirements:

  • Experience in Fintech, Payments industry as an Operations Manager, B2B technical support (2nd line)
  • Clear understanding how is the Payment System works
  • Strong knowledge about transactions flow
  • Knowledge of the basics of WEB architecture
  • Higher or incomplete higher education, preference for graduates of technical universities
  • Proficiency in both English and Russian, with a minimum level of Upper Intermediate (B2)
  • Knowledge of the basics in programming (data types/basic operators/functions)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gitlab
  • Experience with monitoring systems (ELK)
  • Understanding of information and application security, SSH, access credentials
