This Technical Program Manager III role at Google's Home Infrastructure team focuses on leading and delivering software infrastructure programs for Google Home products. Responsibilities include iterative development planning, data analysis and dashboard implementation, defining offline infrastructure programs, monitoring key metrics, and proposing solutions to engineering constraints. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of program management experience, specifically within software infrastructure and capacity planning (TPU, GPUs). Experience with cross-functional projects, release management, and managing migration/technical debt is preferred. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners and communication with executives and engineers. Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with software infrastructure.
- Experience in capacity planning (i.e. TPU, GPUs).
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in release management working on software and machine learning projects.
- Experience prioritizing and managing migration, quality, and technical debt projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead planning and delivery of programs on an iterative development cycle.
- Materialize and analyze data and implementation of dashboards to surface current state, drive forward progress, and report with fidelity on achievements.
- Define and drive offline infrastructure programs.
- Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
- Build knowledge of engineering constraints and propose solutions.
