Job Description

Tesla seeks a Mobile Product Ambassador for residential energy in the DACH region. This role involves driving a Tesla Powerwall van, conducting product training and installation training for installers and electricians, organizing and executing marketing/technical events, engaging with installers, and expanding the Powerwall installer network. Responsibilities include maintaining the Powerwall van, managing equipment, planning itineraries, and performing administrative tasks. Frequent travel (up to 3 weeks/month) is required, including weekend work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of B2B customer-facing experience in training or marketing/events and a working knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar PV, battery storage). Fluency in English and German is essential.

What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a Mobile Product Ambassador for residential energy. In this role, you will support the growth of Powerwall sales in the DACH area through our network of certified installers and at key events.

You will have the unique opportunity to drive the Tesla Powerwall van and host informative sessions. You will also travel across the country to engage the existing community of Powerwall installers and help grow this network by supporting recruitment of new installers.

You will take charge of operating the Powerwall van to and from session destinations, generating interest in the product line and creating memorable experiences. This role provides you with the unique opportunity to be one of Tesla’s first representatives in the field to our customer base.

This is a multi-faceted role where you are expected to have knowledge of the product and market for energy storage, along with great interpersonal communication. Our team is highly collaborative, creative, passionate and has a shared desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology and market landscape.

Location: Germany, preferably located centrally

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct product overview and installation training with installers and electricians
  • Conduct marketing and technical events, set up the Powerwall van and engage with electricians and installers
  • Stay up to date on Tesla’s product suite and relevant Tesla customer tools
  • Work closely with local Residential Energy sales, engineering and marketing teams to coordinate customer visits and events
  • Safely drive and maintain the Tesla Powerwall van, reporting issues promptly and ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain technical equipment in the mobile unit, monitoring State of Charge and proper equipment operation
  • Manage your time on the road – plan itinerary, perform administrative tasks
  • Frequent travel up to 3 weeks, at a time, each month; can include working on weekends (ad-hoc)
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years experience in a B2B customer facing training and/or marketing/events role
  • Working knowledge of renewable energy technologies for residential and small commercial applications, preferably solar PV, battery storage, or charging
  • Ability to cultivate interpersonal connections while facilitating learning and generating enthusiasm about renewable technology
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Valid Driver’s license with a good track record in terms of driving safely and responsibly
