Project description

We are partnering with a leading Australian company to support their Treasury projects, aiming to build a strong onshore testing team that will work closely with the client's existing team.

We are seeking experienced Testers with over 6 years of relevant experience, particularly in transformation and integration projects within Treasury operations. The ideal candidates should have strong expertise in testing data sourcing, data mapping, ETL processes, and Treasury-specific data such as positions, trades, settlements, and accounts.

This high-visibility engagement provides an excellent opportunity to expand our offshore presence rapidly with this client. As a Tester, you will collaborate with key roles including an Architect, Project Manager, Solution Designer, Tech Lead, and Infrastructure Integration Specialist to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.

Responsibilities

Execute Testing: Conduct detailed testing for IRRMU, THS, and CMS systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with BQA leads on portfolio-level testing initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader testing objectives.

Automation: Automate business regression testing to enhance efficiency and minimize manual testing efforts.

Team Development: Upskill and mentor the testing team on business knowledge, applying this knowledge in risk assessments, impact analysis, and test case creation.

Advanced Testing Tools: Utilize advanced testing tools to automate comparisons of User Interface (UI) objects and supporting data layers in Qlik.

Results Management: Manage and communicate testing results effectively, providing coaching, constructive feedback, and counseling to team members.

Lead Test Life Cycle: Oversee the entire test life cycle, including the preparation of test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test completion reports.

Skills

Must have

Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.

ETL Testing & SQL Expertise: Proficiency in ETL testing, including writing complex SQL queries, generating reports, and troubleshooting SQL stored procedures.

Treasury Technology Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Treasury Technology architecture and hands-on experience with Control-M, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Oracle.

Banking Domain Expertise: Familiarity with the banking sector, including knowledge of System Testing (ST) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.

Test Management: Proven experience managing the complete test life cycle, encompassing test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.

CI/CD & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools to facilitate efficient testing operations.

Control-M Experience: Strong understanding of job scheduling and workflow automation using Control-M to manage testing cycles.

Treasury-Specific Testing: Experience in Treasury-specific testing requirements, utilizing skills in ETL/SQL, Control-M, Agile methodologies, and banking experience.

Nice to have

Qlik Expertise: Experience with testing tools related to Qlik, especially in automating UI comparisons and data layer validation.

SSIS Knowledge: Proficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), particularly in designing, developing, and deploying ETL processes.

Agile Methodology Experience: Prior experience working in Agile environments, contributing to the collaborative and adaptive processes that drive project success.

Proficiency in Visual Studio: Experience in leveraging Visual Studio for test automation, debugging, and performance enhancement.
