Job Description

This role is for a Senior Trade & Transaction Reporting Project Manager at a leading commodity trading and logistics company. The project focuses on delivering functional capabilities and infrastructure upgrades for trade & transaction reporting to various trade repositories (Dodd-Frank, MAS, REMIT, Finfrag, MIFID, EMIR). Responsibilities include defining project scope, managing resources, developing schedules, providing project updates, managing vendors, monitoring progress, and identifying areas for improvement. The role requires managing BAU, Change Management and Strategic Changes around Trade & Txn reporting. It involves ensuring timely regulatory reporting, impact analysis, data mapping, end-user support, and anomaly analysis, coordinating with business users, and resolving functional and technical issues.

Our client is a leading commodity trading and logistics company.
They are committed to building and maintaining world-class IT applications and infrastructure.

This programme is aimed at delivering functional capabilities, enhancements, and technical infrastructure upgrades to enable continued business growth and enhanced profitability for the firm.

The project revolves around trade & transaction reporting to trade repositories across different reporting regimes, including Dodd-Frank, MAS, REMIT, Finfrag, MIFID and EMIR. The role involves ensuring timely regulatory reporting, impact analysis, and delivery planning for transactional regulatory rewrites, daily monitoring of regulatory KPIs, data mapping, end user support, reporting anomalies analysis, coordination with business users, resolving functional and technical issues.

This role will be reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Delivery Lead and will be responsible for managing BAU, Change Management and Strategic Changes around Trade & Txn reporting.

Responsibilities

Determine and define project scope and objectives

Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

Manage vendors and stakeholder tasks and communicating expected deliverables

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Maintain roadmap and maintain resource allocation / utilization

Skills

Must have

8+ years of relevant experience

Prior technical background so that he / she is able to effectively co-ordinate with IT stakeholders

Good understanding of PL/Sql and unix server

Regulatory reporting domain knowledge

Prior experience in trade and transaction reporting

Good project management skill

Stakeholder management skills

Strong understanding of Agile methodology

Nice to have

Axiom tool knowledge
