Job Description

As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for training and onboarding new hires, as well as upskilling existing Tide employees, primarily for the German market. You will collaborate with the Member Operations teams to identify training needs, prepare, develop, and deliver high-quality training through the LMS platform and in-person at all operational sites. Responsibilities include conducting onboarding, determining training needs, creating engaging training materials using various tools, and monitoring key data metrics like survey information and training completion rates. Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behaviour.
Must have:
  • Native German language skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Experience in training
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of effective teaching methodologies
Good to have:
  • Training experience in a banking or fintech environment
  • Experience with KYC, Financial Crime, Compliance and Transaction monitoring
  • Experience in writing and conducting training both virtually and face to face
  • Passion for problem-solving
  • Ability to use industry tools like GSuite, MS Office, Articulate360, Video AI and design tools

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Trainer for our Member Operations team (KYX, Ongoing Monitoring, Member Support, Complaints, Collections), you will be responsible for both the training and onboarding of new hires, as well as upskilling existing Tideans, mostly for the German market.

You will work closely with all areas of the member operations teams to identify the need for training, and will prepare, develop and deliver high-quality training via our LMS platform and face-to-face across all of Tide’s operational sites.

As a trainer within the German market you will own training both virtually and face to face:

  • Training
    • You’ll be responsible for the 3 week onboarding of new hires in the member operations space every month 
    • You’ll liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions to upskill existing Tideans on new products and procedures 
  • Content creation
    • You’ll own the creation of training materials - with a focus on quality and maximum engagement - utilising a variety of tools and your extensive knowledge of training and gamification 
  • Monitor Data
    • You’ll monitor all the key data metrics for your area and present these back to your team leader - such as survey information, training completion rates and scores. 
    • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behaviour

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We are looking for a Trainer to help employees expand their knowledge and skills. You will support various Member Operations teams in delivering general system, policy and process training, facilitating the onboarding of new joiners into the teams and creating training content to boost the understanding of all employees across Member Operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Language: Native German skills + Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Experience: 
    • Experience training in a banking/ fintech environment - or relevant KYC, Financial Crime, Compliance and Transaction monitoring experience is considered as advantage 
    • You have experience in writing and conducting training both virtually and face to face
    • You are open to feedback, eager to learn and constantly improve
  • Skills:
    • Experience with extensive stakeholder management 
    • Passion for problem-solving and finding solutions to difficult situations
    • Strong organisational skills
    • Excellent attention to detail 
    • An understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
  • Tools:
    • Ability to use industry tools like GSuite, MS Office, Articulate360, Video AI and design tools - and a passion for creating gamified, highly engaging training content
