Job Description

Luxoft's Shanghai office seeks UI Designers to contribute to its growing Automotive UI/UX team. Responsibilities include designing graphical user interfaces for in-vehicle infotainment systems targeting the Chinese market. This involves screen design, color management, and UI animation design using iterative techniques, including customer workshops. Successful candidates will communicate design rationale effectively, create design prototypes and systems, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure quality control through machine testing and bug fixing. Experience in the automotive industry and proficiency with Figma are essential.

Project description

Luxoft is establishing a strong UI/UX Automotive team in China, Shanghai. This team will work on UX and UI topics for several international car manufacturers, focusing on the Asian market. Innovative concepts and amazing graphics need to be developed for the digital cockpit of future vehicles. We are looking for UI Designers to join this team, working on UI Design and HMI concepts in the Automotive field.

Responsibilities

Develop and design of graphical user interfaces for complex in-Vehicle Information and Communication systems for Chinese market.

Preparation of screen design for target integration including color management and quality control.

Design and specify user interfaces and animations using participatory and iterative design techniques, including customer workshops and other forms of requirements discovery.

Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

Create and analyze design language in order to produce design prototypes and design systems.

Working with an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, human factors, project management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers.

Skills

Must have

Bachelor degree or above in Visual design or a related digital design discipline.

Experience in Automotive Industry.

2-3 year experience UI design with Figma background

UI Mass production design with machine test bug fixed

Able to deal with basic animation video

Have good sense to understand connection; critical thinking, can figure out unreasonable suggestion and try to propose solution

Growth mindset

Project management

Communication skill.

Fluent in Chinese, both speaking and writing

Nice to have

Advanced in English, both speaking and writing

Advanced in Japanese, both speaking and writing
