US Virtual Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US accounting principles and practices, with at least 2 years of experience working with US companies. This role will involve managing various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax preparation, for our US clients.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping:
• Accurately record financial transactions and maintain detailed records.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Payroll Processing:
• Calculate and process payroll for US employees, ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax returns.
• Manage employee benefits and deductions.
• Tax Preparation:
• Prepare and file corporate and personal income tax returns.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for clients.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to clients.
• Client Communication:
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with US companies.
• Strong understanding of US accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) .
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
