Job Description
This full-time Vehicle Detailer position in Pinkenba involves detailing high-end vehicles, using hand and power tools, performing equipment maintenance, and maintaining detailed records. Responsibilities include wet sanding, polishing, buffing, waxing, and occasional customer interaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Prior retail automotive service experience and a clean driving record are a plus. The role requires following instructions, maintaining cooperative working relationships, and handling multiple priorities.

What You’ll Do- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications.
- Knowledge of: Methods, techniques for detailing vehicles - wet sand, polish, buff, wax, etc.
- Maintain records of time and materials.
- May order shop supplies and parts.
- Some customer interactions required with a sound understanding of Tesla vehicles
- Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars.
- Support journeymen technicians as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologies.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public.
- Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
- Clean driving record is imperative
- Year 10 or higher / or equivalent certificate
- Retail automotive service experience a plus.
- Valid driver’s license in the country in which you are applying, 1 year minimum driving record required with a clean driving history, and ability to be insured.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
