Video Production Manager

The video team at Ramsey Solutions is currently looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Video Production Manager to help our video production team stay on track and create efficiencies in their process. This role is responsible for managing the logistical needs of the production team while considering the broader view of budgets, schedules, and resources. This also includes people (FT and Contractors), spaces, and tools. They will work with producers and associate producers to organize and update studio operation standards.

Our Creative Team at Ramsey Solutions is made up of 130+ creatives spanning across design, video, content, product/UX and project management. Our team supports Ramsey’s 15+ business units and digital products with the goal to bring HOPE to the millions of people we serve. Our Video Team produces 75 live events per year, six YouTube shows with over 20 million monthly views, and teaching materials for everyone in every walk of life.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Approve time & cost for contractors/ troubleshoot any contractor or scheduling issues
• Partner with Director of Production to aid in bridging the gap of production needs based on timelines and resources available
• Run and manage production meetings
• Review and approve gear use agreements
• Manage studio upkeep, contract agreements with procurement
• Evaluate and work through production budget issues
• Troubleshoot production pain points with team, including travel issues and production delays
• Reviews and approves location agreements and releases
• Maintain ground level insight of quarterly/yearly production and navigate cost saving measures in real time
• Manage onboarding for production freelancers to the Ramsey ecosystem, tools and resources
• Step into any administrative production role as backup, additional crew, with a focus on shoot audit and evaluation to influence training and production development for all roles

Skills Needed to Win:

• 3+ years of experience in production
• Level of business acumen (working with budgets, understanding and articulating ROI)
• Experience influencing the strategic scheduling of production and managing production flow
• Work with Facility Operations to manage the movement of clients within Production Planning
• Ability to adapt and execute consistently when shift happens
• Capability to develop and utilize relationships within the company, including productions, vendors, and internal Ramsey stakeholders
• Maintain an attitude of curiosity and discovery, ask really great questions that promote collaboration and productive discussion
• Experience working with insurance audits, digital rights, and releases/legal needs
