Mainframe:
ROLE & RESPONSIBILIES :
- Mainframe + PL SQL
- Experience in IAM and Certification in RAFC is a plus
- Open to work in Prod support and shifts
- Good Comm skills
Qualification : Any Graduation
Experience : 2+ Years
- Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operating systems (z/OS).
- Proven experience in programming languages like COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, JCL, and SQL. Experience with mainframe development tools like CICS, DB2, IMS, and VSAM.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Application Development:
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain new or modified applications on the IBM z/OS Mainframe platform.
- Implement new features and functionalities based on business requirements.
- Write efficient and maintainable code in relevant programming languages like COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, JCL, and SQL.
- Application Maintenance:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing mainframe applications.
- Apply code fixes and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and stability.
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks to keep applications up-to-date and secure.
- Testing and Deployment:
- Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests for new and updated applications.
- Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing.
- Prepare and deploy applications to production environments with minimal disruption.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document code and technical specifications clearly and concisely.
- Provide technical support to other team members and end users.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest mainframe technologies and trends.
Pointers to note:
Please do not carry laptops/cameras to the venue as these will not be allowed due to security restrictions.
Original Government ID card is a traveled must for Security Clearance.
