Freelance XPression Designer

General Job Description

Weigel Broadcasting Co., home to national TV networks MeTV , Start TV, H & I , Movies! , Story Television and Catchy Comedy , is in search of a Freelance XPression Designer to join our Design team. The successful candidate will have a high-energy motion design reel demonstrating their knowledge of television production and post-production, along with solid creative design skills. Have experience with Ross XPression including Project Manager and Clipstore Manager, Encoder, Datalinq, and Streamline. Hands on knowledge and background in typography, layout, color, and design. The ideal candidate can bring compelling design ideas to the table – who can create, develop and organize those ideas while working independently with rapidly changing deadlines and situation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or a technical degree, plus professional experience in the field of video production or related area.

Must be able to work independently as well as remotely, under tight deadlines and rapidly changing work environment.

Candidate must be able to work well with other graphic producers, editors, and game presentation staff in order to collaborate and establish an effective workflow within the team environment.

Experience with Ross XPression including Project Manager and Clipstore Manager, Encoder, Datalinq, and Streamline.

Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of Visual Basic or Visual Basic for Applications is a big plus (not a requirement).

Experience with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, C4D, Element3D, Photoshop, and Premiere.

Must be flexible in working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
