We're on the hunt for a dynamic and visionary YouTube Strategist who is well-versed in the current landscape of content creation. The ideal candidate will craft and implement strategies to boost our channel's visibility, grow our subscriber count, and elevate our overall performance. They must align with our company culture and strive to achieve the extraordinary by leveraging trends and metrics. Their role will involve curating content that resonates with our established presence in Minecraft, Roblox, and animated shorts. The candidate should be ambitious, self-motivated, and innovative, ready to guide our team to new heights.

About the Job

The YouTube Strategist will need to live and breathe YouTube and Trends. This position must be able to understand our demographic and come up with ideas that the demographic would desire to watch. Even if the idea comes from outside the demographic, they must be able to understand how to make it work, and if it can’t be willing to walk away from that idea.

If the candidate wants to exceed our expectations, they will study our data analytics for retention. Ultimately learning what makes a good video and creating a good mix of videos for now hits and videos with longevity.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our brand.
• Research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure content remains relevant and appealing to our target audience. 
• Collaborate with content creators to plan and schedule engaging videos that align with our goals across channels.
• Employ proven tactics to increase subscribers, views, and overall audience engagement. 
• Analyze YouTube analytics and user feedback to optimize content for maximum impact. 
• Foster a sense of community through interactive features, comments, and social media engagement. 
• Implement SEO best practices to enhance the discoverability of videos and the overall channels and shorts.
• Conduct keyword research to identify trending topics and optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags.
• Owning the idea generation process for our Roblox, Minecraft and shorts for both channels
• Regularly analyze and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 
• Utilize data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies based on performance results.
• Proficient in Roblox, Minecraft and mods and ability to create stories around them.
• Research and keep up to date with competitors' trending ideas.
• Ability to take feedback and make creative out of the box revisions based on collaboration. 
• Ability to work with a team throughout the writing process to ensure quality, engaging content.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years' experience in YouTube Trends.
• Knowledge of influencers/creators and current video trends.
• Humility- you will need to have a willingness to learn and grow.
• Willingness to be a part of team- this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to change directions quickly.
• Must be based in the Austin TX area or willing to relocate.
