Lunar Animation is seeking a highly creative, full-time Houdini FX Generalist for their Sheffield, UK studio. The role focuses on FX elements like RBD, softbodies, Pyro, FLIP, and cloth within Houdini, requiring the ability to create art-directable, reusable setups. Candidates should also have knowledge of modelling and texturing assets, and a portfolio demonstrating cartoon-stylised work is a plus. Responsibilities include creating and integrating FX, managing feedback, and collaborating with production.

<h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">The Role</h2><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">We are looking for a highly creative FX Generalist to join our studio based in Sheffield, UK.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">The ideal candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate their ability across a range of elements in an animation production. As a generalist, you will also need a knowledge of modelling and texturing assets.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">The role will primarily focus on FX, covering RBD, softbodies, Pyro, FLIP, and cloth inside Houdini.
