The 2D Game Artist will be responsible for creating visually appealing game assets. The artist will optimize images for different platforms, provide marketing materials (banners, screenshots, splash art), and collaborate with other departments. They will also participate in discussions to understand and meet the project's artistic requirements, analyze art styles, and assist with visual effects. The role requires understanding of design principles, anatomy, perspective, form, color, and lighting, and using 2D drawing software to create game assets. The artist will also be responsible for optimizing the images so that they run smoothly in all different platforms. This involves collaborating with the rest of the departments and analyzing and adapting to the best art styles.
