Zscaler, a global leader in cloud security, is seeking an experienced Account Executive for the Public Sector. This role involves understanding and addressing customer needs through Zscaler's unique value proposition, educating key decision-makers, and managing the business within the assigned territory. The Account Executive will collaborate with Sales Engineers to achieve both business and technical goals. The position requires creating and executing a plan for success, covering aspects like target prospects, customer presence, partner coverage, and marketing initiatives. The role involves working on RFPs and tenders end-to-end with all relevant stakeholders.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of Sales experience with revenue quota
  • 4+ years of Public Sector sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related area
  • Experience engaging with Public Sector decision-makers
  • Experience with RFPs and Tenders from end-to-end
Good to have:
  • Experience selling Security, SaaS or Software
  • History of over-achievement in current organization
  • Experience with Government focussed channel partners

Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, Business Development, Transformation, and Technology Partnerships all work together to demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world.

We're looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager - Public Sector to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Understanding and solving customer's pain points through Zscaler's unique value proposition
  • Embracing selling an inspiring technology to educate key decision-makers in organisations in your territory
  • Being the GM of your business and create a plan for success; coverage, target prospects, customer footprint, partner coverage, marketing campaigns
  • Working with Sales Engineers to achieve both business and technical value

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales with a revenue quota
  • Atleast 4 Years experience selling to Public Sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related area
  • Progressive selling experience engaging with Secretary/ Joint Secretary /Director General/ Deputy Director General in Public Sectors
  • Have worked on RFPs and Tenders from end to end, working along with all the relevant stakeholders – Internal and external (customer/ partner/ consultant)

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience selling Security, SaaS or Software
  • History of over-achievement in your career and are in the top 10% in your current organisation
  • Experience working with Government focussed channel partners to create joint plans, create pipeline and lead opportunities to closure
