As an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Boomi, you will convert marketing-qualified leads into opportunities and build relationships with prospects across APAC. You'll engage with leads through phone and email, qualifying prospects and identifying business opportunities to progress them through the sales pipeline. This hybrid role requires 3 days in-office in Sydney to foster collaboration. You will collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) and the Marketing team to optimize lead management processes. You'll also meet monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution.
Must have:
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in sales or customer service
  • University degree in any field of study
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Prior inside sales experience, especially in technology or software
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools
  • A growth mindset and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced organisation
  • Fluency in another language

Sales Development Representative - ANZ Inbound

Looking to break into the exciting world of tech with a globally recognised leader? Boomi is seeking driven, high-energy individuals to join our Sales Development Team as an Inbound SDR. This role offers the perfect gateway into the technology sector, providing you with a strong foundation in sales, high earning potential, and a clear pathway to accelerate your career.

As an Inbound SDR, you will play a key role in driving Boomi's success by converting marketing-qualified leads into opportunities and building valuable relationships with prospects across APAC. You'll collaborate closely with our talented Sales and Marketing teams, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

This is a hybrid role based in our Sydney office (APAC Hub), may require rostered hours to meet needs in Asia market with 3 days in-office required to foster collaboration, learning, and team spirit.

What You'll Do

  • Act quickly on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) from events, trade shows, demo requests, and other marketing activities.
  • Use a consultative approach to qualify prospects and identify business opportunities, moving them into the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) across APAC to create and progress opportunities.
  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and other platforms to understand their needs and position Boomi’s value.
  • Progress prospects through the sales pipeline, maintaining high activity levels without breaching SLAs. 
  • Nurture leads when necessary, maintaining consistent follow-up and building rapport.
  • Work closely with Marketing to optimise lead management processes and provide feedback.
  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution.

The Experience You Bring

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • A university degree in any field of study - surprise us.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to engage with prospects.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a proactive approach to workload.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to learn about complex technologies.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English. 

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience working with CRM tools like Salesforce or other relevant software.
  • Prior inside sales experience, especially in technology or software.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools or workflows.
  • A growth mindset and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced organisation.
  • Fluency in another language.
