As an Accountant you will…

  • Own full cycle accounts payable with purchase order processing, expense report processing, PST self-assessments, GST filings
  • Act as the point of contract for all vendor-related questions (i.e. vendor setup, payment processing)
  • Take on all activities related to
full cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and identifying and resolving discrepancies

  • Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements with detailed variance analysis, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time
  • Support
audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies

  • Improve processes and accounting procedures by analyzing our current process and recommending improvements
  • Opportunities to assist in
areas like revenue, AR cycle, technical accounting analysis, cost analysis, and budgeting.

You are a great fit if you have…

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • Experience with month-end close, forecasting, and a solid understanding of IFRS and core accounting principles
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports
  • The project management skills to organize and prioritize tasks as needed so that deadlines are met without compromising accuracy
  • Clear communication skills — you can explain financial concepts to both finance and non-finance teammates
  • A collaborative approach, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with care
  • Curiosity about the games industry and a desire to learn and grow with the team
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments like tech or creative industries is a plus

It’s a bonus if you have…
