Job Description

The job involves managing reception, customer experience, and social media for a post-production studio. Key responsibilities include greeting clients, providing services in editing rooms, updating social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Behance) with engaging content, managing the online community, handling calls and emails, coordinating tasks related to reception and customer experience, completing purchase reports, assisting with project coordination, being part of the social committee, and maintaining common areas. The role requires a candidate who is autonomous, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills in both French and English.
Good To Have:
  • Proficiency with basic MAC utilities (MS Office, Gmail).
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Canva, Photoshop (basic knowledge), Premiere.
Must Have:
  • Experience in customer service, reception, and hospitality.
  • Excellent command of social media platforms.
  • Concise and creative writing for digital formats.

STATUS: Full-time

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday - From 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

START: Immediate

LOCATION: Montreal, Downtown – Place des Arts or McGill metro

 

SHED is a post-production, visual effects, and animation studio that offers its expertise to advertising agencies, production houses, and the brands they represent. Located in a comfortable and bright space, in an environment that fosters creativity and collaboration, our team of 35 artists and production staff is looking for someone to manage reception, customer experience, and our social media presence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a presence at the reception
  • Greet clients and business partners
  • Provide services to clients in the editing rooms (coffee, beverages, snacks, and meals)
  • Update our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Behance)
  • Plan, write, and post engaging content
  • Manage and engage the online community (respond to messages, interact)
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategies
  • Handle calls and emails to the @info address and provide relevant information
  • Coordinate tasks related to reception, customer experience, and welcoming guests
  • Complete purchase reports and expense accounts for administration
  • Assist with project coordination tasks
  • Be part of the SHED social committee (event coordination)
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of common areas: kitchen, coffee bar, and reception
  • Manage stock and inventories, order groceries and office supplies
