What will you be doing at Miniclip?
Ad Experience QA & Validation
- Test and validate ad templates across all games in the group to ensure ads display correctly and according to our ad quality standards, that they load smoothly, and do not disrupt gameplay.
- Conduct manual tests to spot latency problems, crashes, broken links, inappropriate or low-quality ads.
Automation & Tooling (Ad Quality Automation Project)
- Integrate the Ads QA Automation Project by conducting hands-on testing, delivering actionable feedback, and feeding insights directly into roadmap prioritization and iteration.
- Collaborate with the QA Engineering team to maintain automation scripts and QA tools to monitor ad delivery and UX quality across multiple games and platforms.
- Ensure automation complements, rather than replaces, manual ad QA.
Content & Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure all ads shown to users meet content standards (brand safety, age appropriateness, localisation).
- Liaise with ad partners to report and block inappropriate or fraudulent ads.
- Ensure compliance with app store rules, industry standards, and data privacy requirements (GDPR, COPPA, etc.).
Cross-Team Coordination
- Serve as the QA contact point for all studios and monetisation teams in the group.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Ad Reports from the PX, QA, and Ad Monetization Teams
- Share findings, issues, and best practices with product managers and ad monetisation specialists.
- Create a consistent QA framework that can be applied across different game genres and studios.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Provide clear reports on QA findings, defect tracking, and resolution progress.
- Recommend improvements to Ad UX, Content Blocklists, and our Ad Quality Standard
- Track and escalate recurring ad quality issues to monetisation leads and engineering.
- Work with ad networks, mediation partners, and demand sources to address QA issues.
- Provide frequent “State of Play” Ad Quality updates to the relevant stakeholders
What are we looking for?
- 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in mobile games, advertising technology, or app monetisation.
- Strong understanding of ad monetisation formats (rewarded video, interstitials, banners, playables, native).
- Hands-on QA experience with mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and ad SDKs/mediation tools.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and QA tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and user-experience mindset.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills — able to liaise with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira, TestRail, etc.) and reporting workflows.
