This role involves managing and monitoring KPIs for account delivery, ensuring successful solution delivery within objectives, timelines, and budgets. The Agile Project Manager will report to the Engagement Manager, taking responsibility for software delivery, support, or maintenance projects. Key tasks include establishing project scope, planning work within an Agile framework, ensuring Agile discipline, monitoring progress, and reporting. The role also requires leadership in team building, staff motivation, and assisting with staff assessment and development.
Must have:
  • Take responsibility for software delivery, support, or maintenance projects
  • Establish, monitor, and control progress checkpoints or service level agreements
  • Ensure assigned resources are properly utilized and accounted for
  • Establish the project´s scope and brief staff using Agile methodologies
  • Plan work within an Agile framework using appropriate planning tools
  • Ensure Agile disciplines are correctly followed and educate team/client
  • Monitor progress, produce reports, and act to maintain progress
  • Demonstrate leadership in team building, staff motivation, and assist with staff assessment
  • +5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager in the IT industry
  • Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methods
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Trello, SmartSheets, Asana, Microsoft Project, Miro
  • Product focus and strategic Product overview
  • Experience in mentoring and leading team members with no previous agile experience
  • Knowledge of how to introduce Agile methodologies into new environments
  • Ability to enforce Scrum and other Agile principles
  • Technical understanding
  • Excellent presentation skills

Job Description

Responsible for account delivery, our PDM staff manage and monitor KPIs, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet objectives, timelines, and budgets. These multifunctional teams take care of everything from pre-sales, to monitoring progress, to reporting and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Engagement Manager, the Agile Project Managers will take responsibility for software delivery, support, or maintenance projects, establishing, monitoring, and controlling progress checkpoints or service level agreements.
  • Ensure that assigned resources (staff, equipment, services, funds, time) are properly utilized and accounted for and up-to-date usage of information is maintained.
  • Establish the project´s scope and take full responsibility for the staff´s clear briefing and direction using Agile methodologies.
  • Plan the work with a team or project group within an Agile framework using appropriate planning tools, producing plans to the standards required.
  • Ensure the Agile disciplines are correctly followed and educate members of the team and the client who do not have the relevant experience.
  • Monitor progress, producing reports on progress against plan according to standards, acting within the authority to maintain progress whilst recognizing areas requiring decision-making concerning budget, schedules, resources, working methods, staff matters, and technical difficulties.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in team building, and staff motivation and assist with staff assessment, development, and mentoring

Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager in the IT industry.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Six Sigma, etc – Agile and Waterfall methods are a requirement; PMP cert is nice to have.
  • JIRA, Trello, SmartSheets, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project, Miro, etc
  • Scrum Master certification preferable.
  • Product focus and strategic Product overview
  • Product Ownership and/or Product Managment certification preferable.
  • Experience in mentoring and leading team members that have no previous agile experience.
  • Knowledge of how to introduce Agile methodologies into new environments.
  • Ability to enforce Scrum and other Agile principles and to explain the benefits to team members and wider organization, as well to senior stakeholders.
  • Technical understanding and ability to provide some level of support/understanding to the consulting team.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience of presenting to senior level stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in an adaptable and flexible environment.
