Job Description

As an Agile Project Manager at Endava, you will be an integral part of the Cloud team, responsible for facilitating project delivery, organizing Agile ceremonies, and coaching the team on Agile principles. You will build strong relationships with clients, ensure projects adhere to plans, and track progress. You will also be an Agile evangelist, promoting modern development methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing the software development lifecycle, acting as a Scrum Master, identifying and managing risks, and promoting communication between all parties. This role involves managing project dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and encouraging innovation within the team. You will also be implementing and managing Product Data Management (PDM) systems to streamline product development processes and enhance collaboration across teams.
Must have:
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master
  • Solid experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Strong time management and team leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience in software development project delivery
Good to have:
  • Cloud infrastructure project experience and certifications (e.g., Google Digital Leader) are a plus

Job Description

At Endava we're currently looking to build out our Cloud development and infrastructure teams working for our clients – large & global enterprises. In this Agile Project Manager role, you will be directly part of the Cloud team. You will be responsible to help the team deliver project outcomes, organise and facilitate Agile ceremonies and practices, build a trusting and safe environment, coach and guide the team on Agile values and help to remove obstacles and issues. You will be cooperating with customer representatives, and you will be responsible to maintain their good relationship with Endava. You will be responsible to ensure the project is running according to project plan, tracking project progress and milestones. Moreover, you will be an Agile evangelist, helping the organisation to grow and adapt modern iterative development methodologies. Finally, your role will be to promote continuous improvement culture and to help individuals to grow in the organisation.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager, manage project Software Development Lifecycle phases and their progress, work directly with customers, and maintain client-facing documentation.

• Act as Scrum Master for customer facing and internal projects, including helping the team focus on creating high-value increments, coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality.

• Identify, understand, assess and manage risks to the success of each project as defined in project proposal.

• Engage with company consultants and leadership to ensure activities are planned and executed in a way which aligns with the allotted project windows and price proposals.

• Lead, train, and coach the organisation in Agile adoption.

• Promote good business relations and communication between all parties involved in project implementation.

• Implement and manage Product Data Management (PDM) systems to streamline product development processes and enhance collaboration across teams.

• Facilitate the integration of PDM tools with existing Agile project management systems to ensure seamless data flow and version control.

• Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into project status, risks, and key performance indicators.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritise product backlog items, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

• Conduct regular retrospectives and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and project delivery efficiency.

• Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, regular updates, and transparent reporting of project progress and challenges.

• Foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the team, encouraging the adoption of best practices in Agile methodologies and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master
