Who are we?

Ema is building the next generation AI technology to empower every employee in the enterprise to be their most creative and productive. Our proprietary tech allows enterprises to delegate most repetitive tasks to Ema, the Universal AI employee. We are founded by ex-Google, Coinbase, Okta executives, and serial entrepreneurs. We’re well-funded by the top investors and angels in the world. Ema is based in Silicon Valley and Bangalore. This will be a hybrid role where we expect employees to work from office three days a week.

Who are you?

The AI Applications Lead will spearhead Generative AI solution deployments, collaborating with enterprise clients to design, implement, and optimize cutting-edge AI workflows.

You will:

1. Architect and deploy Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based workflows and production-grade conversational AI systems.

2. Mentor junior AI engineers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality implementations.

3. Collaborate with enterprise clients to understand objectives and translate them into actionable AI workflows.

4. Design and integrate complex software systems with APIs, ensuring end-to-end functionality.

5. Oversee cloud deployment on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

6. Conduct A/B and A/A testing to refine workflows and improve prompt accuracy.

7. Implement monitoring tools for real-time metrics and system reliability.

8. Align AI initiatives with organizational goals and report progress to leadership.

9. Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in Generative AI to ensure state-of-the-art solutions.

Ideally, you'd have:

Experience:

• 5+ years in customer-facing roles, consulting, or solution delivery for enterprise clients.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering and multi-step workflows.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for AI workflow orchestration and data handling.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and API integration.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience scaling AI workflows in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with production-grade conversational AI (e.g., chatbots, voicebots).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana or Datadog.

Other Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in LLM outputs and integrations.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align AI efforts with business objectives.
