Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled Chatbot Developer experienced with Amelia (IPsoft) and SoundHound AI platforms to build intelligent conversational interfaces for chat and voice channels. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver seamless, human-like AI experiences, designing conversational flows, managing intents/entities, and integrating backend systems. The role involves optimizing NLP/NLU accuracy, monitoring bot behavior, and collaborating with UX and tech teams to refine user interactions.
Must Have:
- Develop and deploy chatbots using Amelia.
- Design conversational flows, manage intents/entities, and integrate backend systems.
- Optimize NLP/NLU accuracy and performance.
- Monitor, test, and improve bot behavior using analytics and user feedback.
- Proven experience with Amelia by IPsoft or other voice/NLU platforms.
- Strong knowledge of NLP/NLU concepts and chatbot architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and data handling in backend systems.
- Familiar with Groovy, Java, and Python for scripting and integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug conversational flows in production.
- Hands-on experience with test case design, bug tracking tools like JIRA, and QA documentation.
- Working knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Familiarity with chatbot transcripts/log analysis for functional and UX issues.
- Exposure to voicebot UX testing, including audio response validation and latency checks.
- Understanding of voice and IVR development and voice-first UX design principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
