Job Description
As a Platform Engineer at SIXT, you will be responsible for developing the foundational elements that enable our global engineering teams to work efficiently and effectively, fostering innovation and rapid product development. You will be involved in creating tools, experiences, and services that enhance developer productivity, providing you with end-to-end ownership and the opportunity to integrate AI into daily engineering tasks. The role involves close collaboration with various teams, including backend, mobile, web, and data science, to understand their workflows and create solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable, high-performance cloud platforms and developing AI-powered solutions.

Must Have:
- Experience in system engineering and building things at scale
- Proficiency in Golang & Python
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You build seamless developer experiences on top of one of the most advanced internal developer platform in the industry
- You create smart internal tools and automation that remove friction and help engineers ship faster and safer
- You design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance cloud platforms that developers love to use
- You partner closely with backend, mobile, web and data science teams to deeply understand their workflows—and supercharge them
- You ideate and implement AI-powered solutions that take our internal developer platform and experience to the next level
- Hands on You have a taste for building automations and experiences that just work
- Experience You have strong experience in system engineering and building things at scale
- Languages You are proficient in Golang & Python
- Skills You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- AI Previous experience building AI agent powered workflows is a plus
- Communication You have excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
