Job Description

As an Analog Custom Silicon Validation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the design and validation team. Your primary responsibility will be to validate the performance of internally developed silicon, ensuring it meets design and functional specifications. You will develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies throughout the silicon and product development cycles. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with analog mixed-signal design, system integration, and automated test equipment (ATE) engineers. Your tasks will encompass silicon validation, bench testing, and characterization of custom mixed-signal ICs. You will develop electrical tests, automate tests, analyze results, and generate test reports. You will also collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams. Lastly, you will provide support for production engineers and failure analysis debug in the lab.
Must have:
  • Silicon validation and characterization of custom mixed-signal ICs.
  • Collaborating with design team on silicon validation test plans.
  • Developing electrical tests using analog interfaces and FPGA.
  • Automating tests, extracting results, and generating reports.

Job Details

You will join the design and validation team responsible for ensuring that internally developed silicon meets the design and functional specifications. You will be responsible for developing and executing test methodologies for validating silicon performance throughout the silicon and product development cycles. You will collaborate with analog mixed signal design, system integration, and automated test equipment (ATE) test engineers. You will be responsible for: - Silicon validation, bench testing, and characterization of custom mixed-signal ICs. - Collaborating with design team on silicon validation and characterization test plans. - Develop electrical tests using analog interfaces, FPGA and JTAG to validate IPs. - Develop board-level solutions for characterization and emulation platforms to meet design team requirements. - Define test equipment, schematic, and layout requirements to enable on-bench testing. - Automate tests, extract results, and generate test reports. Compare measured performance to design specifications. - Collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams at silicon and module levels. - Support production engineer and failure analysis debug in the lab.
