Job Description

As an Entry-Level Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of software solutions that support and enhance our 24/7 manufacturing operations. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)—a mission-critical platform that manages workflows, logistics, recipes, and specifications across the plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and explore AI and emerging technologies to help modernize and optimize manufacturing systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment while contributing to digital transformation initiatives.
Must have:
  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications that support production efficiency, logistics control, and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Assist in integrating AI, automation, and other emerging technologies into MES and related systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot software issues in a 24/7 operational setting.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and updates.
  • Stay current with industry trends and proactively suggest innovative solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and explore AI, automation, and new technologies relevant to manufacturing.
Good to have:
  • Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of Agile or DevOps practices
  • Internship or project experience in software development
  • Interest in AI applications like predictive maintenance, process optimization, or computer vision
