Job Summary
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Android developer passionate about pushing mobile technologies. You will collaborate with talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile ecosystem. Responsibilities include working with the existing codebase, developing new apps, and optimizing for a fast user experience. Key tasks involve designing and building advanced mobile features, custom UI, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing for speed, memory, network, and battery, ensuring app stability and security, and continuously evaluating new technologies. You will also perform unit testing for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability.
Must have:
- 5-9 years of experience in Android Development
- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science/Engineering
- Solid understanding of mobile development lifecycle
- Good knowledge of networks and distributed systems
- Expertise in Android frameworks and third-party libraries
- Attention to detail and focus on UX
Good to have:
- Experience in iOS app development
- Experience with Flutter/React Native
- Active Stack Overflow profile
- Contributions to GitHub

Roles & Responsibilities:
Designing and building advanced mobile features and custom UI.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimizing the app for speed, memory, network and battery.
Always keeping the app stable and secure.
Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Skills & Experience Required:
You have 5-9 years of experience in Android Development.
You are a software engineer who thinks & speaks in Java/Kotlin.
You have a Bachelors / master’s degree in computer science / engineering or a related subject.
You have a solid understanding of the full lifecycle of mobile development, testing, publishing and devops.
You have a good knowledge of networks and distributed systems.
Your attention to detail is the stuff of legends (Every second, byte and pixel counts). You enjoy working with a small, fast paced team willing to jump on tasks (planned / out of nowhere / ambiguous), without spilling your coffee.
You are equal parts left and right brain You focus on the tech and logic as much as you are obsessed with the UX and customer delight.
You are looking to restore balance to the universe through clean code.
You are a flawless multi-tasker, able to smoothly transition between features, bugs, projects and languages.
You have complete expertise in the general mobile landscape, design, trends, and emerging technologies.
You have experience working with Android frameworks as well as third-party libraries and APIs.
Bonus Points:
You have experience in iOS app development.
You have developed apps on Flutter / React Native.
You are popular on Stack Overflow for answering challenging questions.
Your GitHub profile showcases a list of original contributions.
