Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking an Archive Assistant in Bogotá. This role involves operational skills to manage documents, boxes, and other documentary elements within various processes. Responsibilities include handling loans, returns, preparation, insertion, re-archiving, coding, and classification of information, along with managing document management applications. Must have:
  • Movement of documents, boxes, bags, and other documentary elements.
  • Perform loans, returns, preparation, insertions, re-archiving, coding, and classification of information.
  • Manage document management applications.
  • Verify, prepare, and list documentary information.
  • Validate databases against documents.
  • Move equipment and supplies for area processes.
  • Comply with the wearing, care, and adequate conditions of use of the assigned uniform.
  • Ensure correct handling of all elements, tools, and equipment.
  • Travel between different warehouses using authorized vehicles.
  • Educational level: High school graduate, Technician or Technologist in document management.
  • Minimum 3 months of experience as an archive or administrative assistant.
  • Office software knowledge.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow operational procedures.
  • Adaptability, responsibility, and teamwork.

Our job offer:

  • Competitive monthly salary: $1,423,500 COP.
  • Rotating Schedule:
  • Shift 1. Monday to Thursday: 6:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday: 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Shift 2. Monday to Thursday: 1:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Friday: 1:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Saturday 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Job stability and direct hiring by the company.
  • Type of contract: 2 months with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities of the position:

  • Movement of documents, boxes, bags, and other documentary elements within the different processes of the area.
  • Perform loans, returns, preparation, insertions, re-archiving, coding, and classification of information managed in the process.
  • Management of document management applications.
  • Verification, preparation, and listing of documentary information.
  • Validation of databases vs. documents.
  • Movement of equipment and supplies necessary for area processes.
  • Comply with the wearing, care, and adequate conditions of use of the assigned uniform.
  • Guarantee and ensure the correct handling of all elements, tools, and equipment related to the development of the functions outlined above.
  • Perform displacements between different warehouses by means of vehicles authorized by the company.

What we are looking for?

  • Educational level: High school graduate, Technician or Technologist in document management.
  • Work experience minimum of 3 months as an archive or administrative assistant.
  • Key skills and knowledge:
  • Office software knowledge.
  • Customer service.
  • Ability to follow operational procedures.
  • Adaptability, responsibility, and teamwork.
