Job Details

Nordson Industrial Coating Systems, a global leader in industrial coating systems, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Area Sales Manager (H/F) to join our team in France, region North East (Reims, Dijon, Troyes area).

Summary of the role

The Area Sales Manager (H/F) is living in the region France North East (Reims, Dijon, Troyes area). Professional English skills are mandatory, along with a technical understanding in the electro-mechanical industry.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to achieve the assigned sales budget by sales activities includes market research, qualifying leads and prospects. Preparing and presenting Quotations, close the sale and ensure smooth implementation and transfer information to other departments involve for Project Management and Execution.

  • Ensures the proper installation and start-up of all systems through proper utilization of technical personnel

  • Ensures that Customer Service Representative is fully briefed on all aspects of new installations and the account responsibility has been effectively transferred.

  • Proactively stays current with industry trends, regulatory requirements and software enhancements, identifying and communicating new items as needed to aid other team’s members in performing tasks efficiently and effectively.

  • Work cross functionally with marketing, operations and engineering to help with customer opportunities, resolve issues, planning, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor degree or higher in electrical, mechanical or Automation Engineering or similar. Additional certificate in Sales or Marketing could be valuable.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a field sales engineering.

  • Basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills required.

  • Professional level of French and fluent level of English (any additional language is valuable)

  • Proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment

Travel

  • Estimated 80% travel time within France, within the region North-Este.
