Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Editor/Production Assistant to join our dynamic training production team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive experience in video production and video editing to support the creation of clear and compelling visual content that aligns with our brand's unique vision and mission. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our production workflow and ensuring that each project efficiently meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Production Coordination: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to plan and execute all production details, including scheduling, location logistics, equipment, and personnel details.
• Video Production: Collaborate to provide assistance in all stages of video production, including topic development, scripting, shot lists, lighting, sound, recording, organizing, processing, creating string-outs, assembling rough cuts, and editing video files, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and brand / tone guidelines. Evaluate media and provide constructive feedback to enhance overall production quality. Travel as needed to facilitate and assist in production.
• Equipment Management: Secure, track, and maintain production equipment, ensuring all gear is in optimal condition for shooting.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• 3+ years of experience in video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
• Advanced proficiency in video editing and production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to operate various camera equipment and lighting setups
• Strong understanding of video production techniques, including shooting, sound design, and post-production workflows
• Knowledge of color grading and audio mixing processes to enhance video quality
• Ability to create string outs and assist in footage organization
• Familiarity with photography principles and techniques
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working independently, prioritizing workflow, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Preferred:
• Experience with motion graphics and animation software, such as After Effects or similar
• Background in storytelling and narrative development for visual media
• Experience with AR/VR production and distribution
