Rockstar Games is seeking excited, curious, and talented product management professionals to help lead our Online Services product teams. As a member of our team, you will push the boundaries of what gaming experiences can be by finding innovative solutions to complex problems. Working with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will be central in creating and executing on a vision for the Rockstar Games online platform, which services millions of players worldwide.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. 

WHAT WE DO

  • The Rockstar Games Online Services Team is a passionate development group, focused on growing and maintaining the technology platform that powers Rockstar’s online titles and our ability to deliver world-class player experiences.  
  • We create high-impact features and experiences for our PC players of Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and all other games available through the Rockstar Games Launcher and subsidiary products. 
  • The Rockstar Games Launcher Product Manager will lead the execution of our long-term strategy to help our games continue to thrive on the PC platform. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Champion our PC Platform: Be a SME with a wealth of product and domain knowledge, not just on the platform technologies that support our games, but the PC gameplay itself and that of our core competitors. 
  • Execute on Multiple Products: Lead every step of the end-to-end product development cycle, starting from conducting effective product discovery across multiple related products to shipping new features on those products and everything along the way. 
  • Advocate for our Players: Adopt the PC player mindset and collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and other teams to transform bold concepts into refined, well-scoped, player-first features. 
  • Influence Development Priorities: Believe in the product vision & strategy, convert it into actionable product plans, drive the feature backlog and influence all impacted product teams with the proposed priorities on the roadmap in collaboration with executive leadership to achieve critical success. 
  • Define Product Details: Provide feature specification documentation, feature visuals and all other artifacts that help define the appropriate scope, feasibility, level of effort and drive key decision points. 
  • Provide Smart Insights: Leverage reporting systems to generate insights on product performance to help influence prioritization, scope, feature design, and post launch corrections. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of technology product management experience through successful, large volume user-facing product launches. 
  • Deep knowledge of the PC gaming industry, PC game launchers and PC hardware that helps enable modern AAA games. 
  • Experience in partnering with business, engineering, and executive leadership to build a constant pipeline of features. 
  • 3+ years of experience leading executive reporting on behalf of the product team. 

SKILLS

  • Passion for building systems and features that provide end-to-end superior, consistent and customized player experience across multiple platforms. 
  • Knowledge and experience working with external partners and vendors. 
  • Proficiency in conducting user research to qualitatively understand and communicate user behavior, needs, and pain points.  
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and the ability to work across multiple business units. 
  • Expertise in initiating and implementing projects through inception, design, development, testing, and implementation. 
  • Experienced in working iteratively and responding to changing requirements, priorities, and evolving stakeholder visions. 

PLUSES

  • Experience with A/B testing to enhance designs and improve user experience. 
  • Avid gamer with a passion for Rockstar Games PC titles. 
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar product-focused certification.
