What you will do:
Enphase’s new Energy Management system is the future of energy. Enabling our system’s Always On promise to customers requires advanced communications and control solutions that ensure we are always connected. The communications and control products are at the heart of the system and defining these correctly means defining the entire energy management system. As a Product Manager, you will own analysis of the data generated by the Enphase fleet, and market research to define new products. You will interact and contribute to the component definitions to ensure they carry the capabilities needed to address gaps identified in the system functionality.
- Own the VOC (Voice of the Customer)
- Analyse data generated by Enphase systems to identify issues and actively engage with stakeholders (engineering, systems, testing, field) to prioritise
- Define, track, and analyse metrics and measures for product and system performance.
- Capture and articulate product feedback from multiple sources. Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share and improve user experience. Maintain product requirements/backlog
- Collaborate with other product managers and own the parts of product development process, including business case definition, scoping product requirements, creating feature specifications, and more.
- Manage and track product development process ensuring agile product development and responsiveness to issues identified.
- Develop product related content in support of sales and account management teams
- Conduct and maintain competitive assessments and information for communication and control products
- BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or Computer science Engineering from Tier 1 engineering colleges (IIT/NIT)
- Relevant advanced degree such as an M.Tech or MBA from a Tier 1 B school, or adequate professional experience
- At least 2 years of experience in application/hardware/software/system engineering or technical product management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyse large data sets and generate business insights
- Desire to work in a highly visible and critical role
- Professional experience as a product manager with connectivity products
- Experience in networking or IoT products/systems, TCP/IP stack or LTE stack
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, pandas Python library and experience using with data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Incorta etc.)
- Experience in complex customer service/customer experience problem solving
- Familiarity with Cellular communication network or Wi-Fi protocols
- Natural peer and team leadership skills
