Associate User Experience Architect

Arkose Labs is looking for a User Experience Architect to join our growing team. You will be an integral part of our Customer Success organization, responsible for driving the onboarding and adoption of Arkose security solutions in our customer base.

You enjoy technical details and can implement changes, but can also communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business requirements and operational needs. Your focus will be on providing a user interface that is as frictionless, quick, beautiful, and fun for the occasional authentic human user who encounters a challenge, so that people all over the world can continue to enjoy using the services of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of styling customizations (CSS/HTML) to match customer UX/UI requirements.
• Own the technical delivery lifecycle—including design, testing, and go-live—of Arkose Labs’ security solutions.
• Continuously improve internal methodologies, toolkits, and implementation processes to drive efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues.
• Produce design artifacts and documentation required by engineering to build seamless and accessible user interfaces.

Must Have

• Have 2+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Web Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5, with a strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Hands-on experience converting design mockups (Figma, Sketch, Zeplin) into functional interfaces.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Track record of solving technical challenges and delivering full end-to-end implementations.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience integrating SDKs into mobile applications (Xcode, SwiftUI, Android Studio, etc).
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards such as WCAG and ADA.
• Proficiency in JSON structures
