Title: Speech Recognition Specialist

The ASR Engineer will focus on developing and refining our speech recognition capabilities. This role involves working with state-of-the-art technologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our STT (Speech to Text) systems. The ideal candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with ASR systems, a deep understanding of machine learning models, and a commitment to delivering high-quality and innovative speech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust ASR systems to convert spoken language into text with high accuracy.
  • Utilize advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques, including transformers and attention mechanisms, to enhance speech recognition performance.
  • Develop and maintain STT/TTS APIs that can be integrated into various applications.
  • Continuously test, optimize, and update the ASR models to adapt to new languages and dialects.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate ASR technology into broader product offerings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in speech recognition technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in designing and implementing speech recognition systems.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ASR technologies, including experience with transformer models and neural networks.
  • Proven track record of working with audio data and real-time speech processing.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Whisper or similar ASR technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying ASR systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
