We are looking for a Principle First 'Automotive Visualizer ' at Eccentric Engine. As a Automotive Visualizer/Generalist at Eccentric you will be responsible for taking a product to scale and will be at the helm of the strategy this include unlocking whole world of virtual interaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, photorealistic 3D visualizations of automotive products that will be used by our clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of automotive design, and proficiency in 3D rendering software.

To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented, flexible, creative, and a good team player. For this position specifically, you need to be Creative and Artistic with strong fundamental knowledge of Hard Surface Modelling, knowledge of automotive surfacing, texturing, and Lighting as well as the attitude of unlearning to learn new things. 

Key Responsibilities:

1.    3D Modelling and Rendering:

·      Create high-quality, photorealistic 3D models of automotive vehicles and components.

·      Develop detailed textures, materials, and lighting setups to enhance the realism of the 3D models.

2.    Visualization and Animation:

·      Produce interactive 3D visualizations and animations that allow customers to explore vehicle features and configurations.

·      Collaborate with the development team to integrate 3D models on our One3d Platform

·      Ensure smooth and realistic animations of vehicle features and interactions.

3.    Collaboration and Communication:

·      Work closely with automotive clients, project managers and marketing teams to understand vehicle specifications and design requirements.

·      Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

·      Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the overall visual quality and user experience.

4.    Quality Assurance:

·      Conduct thorough quality checks on 3D models and visualizations to ensure accuracy and consistency with real-world vehicles.

·      Identify and resolve any issues related to geometry, textures, lighting, and animations.

·      Maintain a high standard of visual quality throughout the project lifecycle.

5.    Innovation and Improvement:

·      Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in 3D visualization and rendering technologies.

·      Experiment with new tools and techniques to enhance the visual quality and efficiency of the production pipeline.

·      Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and processes.

Qualifications:

·      Degree in Industrial Design (Transportation Design), or a related field.

·      Proven experience in 3D modelling and rendering in the automotive industry.

·      A strong portfolio of your previous work and projects showcasing alignment of the skills with Requirements (Most preferably need to have Automotive Models and CGI work with exceptional compositing and post-processing demonstrating your Skills) 

·      Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender3D, Maya, V-Ray, Substance Painter, and similar tools.

·      Strong understanding of automotive design and visual design principles.

·      Need to Have the strong knowledge of the PBR based materialization and texturing workflow.

·      Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

·      Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

·      Portfolio demonstrating previous work in 3D automotive visualization is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Experience with real-time rendering engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).

·      Familiarity with VR/AR technologies and their application in 3D visualization.

·      Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Blender3D, 3ds Max, Maya)
