The AVL Technician supports Transformation Church services and events by deploying, installing, and maintaining AVL systems, and operating Sunday services. This role requires a strong Christian walk, active participation in production planning, coordination, and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates need 2-4 years of AVL industry experience, proficiency with various audio/video equipment, strong technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.

- Actively participate in planning and preparation as assigned and ensure best practices are followed
- Assist AVL Specialist to coordinate set up and on-site leadership for services and events as assigned
- Coordinate audiovisual production preparation and execution with all relevant internal and external staff
- Notify Manager of any significant challenges installing, operating, removing, storing and maintaining audiovisual equipment
- Maintain a high degree of safety protocol internally and with third party vendors and adhere to all Transformation Church standards
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100 pounds on occasion with help
- 2-4 years of experience within AVL industry
- Working knowledge of digital audio consoles, stage patching, RF coordination, MA lighting, Sony cameras, Ross video gear, ROE, Brompton, and general AVL maintenance ability
- Highly tech-savvy, able to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly
- Ability to train and develop volunteers
- Ability to resolve conflict in calming manner
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively through talking and hearing
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient computer skills with Apple, Microsoft, and Google products and the ability to learn TC-used databases and technologies
