Overview: This position is part of the GTO Shared Services team, which provides specialized technical, strategic, and operational support to the Global Technical Sales Organization to drive a high-performing and scalable sales function. It is responsible for supporting the global sales team with opportunity qualification, solution builds, demonstrations, and technical presentations, as well as pre-sales support, PoCs, and technical enablement sessions.
Architect scalable and reusable integration solutions by aligning customer business strategies with technical capabilities, working in partnership with field solution engineers and presales teams.
Own the design and technical validation of integration blueprints across verticals, leveraging Boomi’s suite including AtomSphere, API Management, Master Data Hub (MDH), and B2B/EDI modules.
Provide strategic technical leadership to support account solution planning, bid responses, and PoC design efforts.
Collaborate closely with presales and technical sales teams to shape solution narratives, deliver technical proposals, and design tailored solution architectures.
Evangelize Boomi best practices and integration patterns within the internal presales support team and influence architecture standards and frameworks.
Drive the creation of reference architectures, demo environments, and reusable artifacts that accelerate solutioning for future opportunities.
Conduct remote workshops and technical deep dives with global solution engineers, providing architectural guidance and knowledge transfer on complex use cases.
Lead and mentor junior team members on architecture reviews, performance tuning, and enterprise-grade design patterns.
Engage in technical risk assessments and support effort estimation and delivery feasibility discussions in early-stage deal cycles.
Help define and refine internal methodologies, delivery frameworks, and continuous improvement of offshore presales processes.
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
10–15 years of IT experience with a strong focus on integration architecture, presales solutioning, and technical consulting.
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Boomi, including AtomSphere design, deployment, and best practices.
Proven ability to translate business needs into architecture diagrams, technical requirements, and solution design.
Demonstrated experience in customer-facing engagements (direct or in collaboration with onshore teams) including requirement gathering, scoping, and design reviews.
Solid foundation in integration concepts including ESB, EAI, ETL, API-led design, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
Expertise in Boomi’s runtime infrastructure setup (Molecule/Atom), high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) planning.
Exposure to Boomi MDH, API Management, and EDI/B2B integrations.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP a plus), including integration deployment strategies.
Familiarity with integration endpoints such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Kafka, and file/database systems.
Hands-on experience with web technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, XSLT, JSON, Groovy/JavaScript, and relational/noSQL databases.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and API lifecycle management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders globally.
