Job Description

The Brand Manager will implement brand plans, campaigns, and supporting projects, playing a pivotal role in strategic brand management and development of character IPs. This role informs decision-making and drives the success of brand, content, and marketing initiatives. Candidates need previous brand management and governance experience in entertainment or media, proven experience in brand planning and promotional campaigns, and strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Experience in UK and international brand building, understanding marketing for content distribution, licensing, and partnerships is essential. The role requires handling multiple projects, effective team collaboration, excellent organizational and communication skills, and budget management.

About The Role

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked 9.30-6pm with an hour unpaid lunchbreak each day

Salary: Depending on experience

Location: Gas Ferry Road Studio

The Brands and Licensing team commercially exploit the company's IP in a way that celebrates and respects our creative values whilst maximising revenues for the company. We nurture an understanding of global markets and develop strategies, opportunities, and partnerships to deliver our products and services. Furthermore, we build and understand our audiences and connect them with our products and services.

Main purpose of the job:

The Brand Manager is responsible for implement the brand plans, campaigns and supporting projects working as part of the wider Brand and Licensing team, reporting into the Head of Brand Marketing. This role plays a pivotable role in the strategic brand management and development of character IPs and helps to inform decision-making and drive the success of brand, content and marketing initiatives.

About You

Candidates will need previous brand management and governance experience within entertainment or media sectors. You’ll need proven experience in brand planning and implementation of promotional campaigns as well as strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

We’re looking for someone with experience in brand building projects in the UK and international territories and an understanding of marketing and promotions to support content distribution, licensing strategies and partnerships. You will need to be able to handle various projects at one time and collaborate effectively in a team environment and across departments.

Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential for this role as well the ability to plan expenditure and track budgets.
