Job Summary

Job Description

As a Bridge Design Engineer, you will be responsible for checking and reviewing data for existing LCs, finalizing span arrangement according to RDSO Standards for railway spans and other viaduct spans. You will determine the number of boreholes required, their location, and engage agencies for geotechnical investigation. After receiving approval on the tentative GAD of the ROBs, you will perform detailed design using computer programs for structural analysis. You will design structures according to the latest code IRC 112 with LSM, and work out costs, technical specifications, and BOQ. Experience with pile and open foundation types is preferred.

Must have:

Checking and reviewing LC data
Finalizing span arrangement according to RDSO Standards
Determining borehole requirements and locations
Engaging agencies for geotechnical investigation
Detailed design using computer programs for structural analysis
Designing structures according to IRC 112 with LSM
Costing, technical specifications, and BOQ
Experience with pile and open foundation types

Checking and revieweing data for the existing LCs, Finalisation of span arrangement according to RDSO Standards for railway span, and other viaduct spans. determination of number of bores holes to be taken and their location , engaging agencies for geotechnical investigation, fixation of span arramngemnet. After getting approval on tentative GAD of the ROBs the detailed design is done through computer programe for detailed staructural analysis. Design of strctures with latest code IRC 112 with LSM. Working out cost , technical specification, BOQ etc. Foundation type were Pile and Open type
