As a Business Analyst I, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements. You will write SQL queries, utilize Python for data processing and advanced analytics, and identify process improvements. Moreover, you will ensure data quality and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role emphasizes turning data into actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or business analysis
- Intermediate proficiency in Python (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib)
- Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good to have:
- Background in Petroleum, Chemical, or similar disciplines
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts and tools

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis
- Use Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics (e.g., statistical analysis, modeling)
- Identify business process improvements and support automation initiatives using data insights
- Ensure data quality through validation and QA processes
- Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or business analysis
- Intermediate proficiency in Python (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Scikit-Learn, Requests, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, openpyxl, rapidfuzz)
- Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries and performance optimization
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Background in branches such as Petroleum, Chemical, or similar disciplines
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts and tools
