Magic Media is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the gaming industry. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, contacting potential clients, planning marketing initiatives, and increasing the value of existing customers while acquiring new ones. Responsibilities include researching new opportunities, finding and developing new markets, attending industry events, and developing proposals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ex-dev sales and an "End to End" background, with at least 3 years of sales experience in gaming.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the gaming industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Results oriented with a record of success
  • Strong work ethic and team player attitude
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Magic Media is a pioneering media, entertainment and tech group powered by creativity and innovation. We have a physical presence in 15 countries and expertize in the areas of art, animation, cybersecurity, game development, software development, VFX and video production amongst others. We work with leading developers and publishers within the games and tech industry, providing support and solutions designed around individual needs and carried out by global experts.

We’re looking for an established Business Development Manager to join our team and identify opportunities to develop our business. The ideal candidate has significant experience in the gaming vertical, with a proven track record in ex-dev sales and an “End to End” background.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

– Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
– Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
– Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
– Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
– Finding and developing new markets and growing sales.
– Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
– Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
– Develop and reach goals whilst driving business growth.
– Helping team members develop their skills.

YOUR PROFILE: 

– 3+ years of sales experience in the gaming industry.
– Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
– Proficient level of English, oral and written communications skills essential.
– Results oriented with a record of success in meeting deadlines.
– A strong work ethic and a team player attitude with deep commitment to customer satisfaction.
– Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
– Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
– Excellent organizational skills.
– Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
– Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
