Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative I you will embark on your professional journey and begin to apply the skills and knowledge gained during your college education or work experience so far to drive our pipeline development efforts further. In this role, you will learn the fundamentals of opportunity qualification and pipeline development.  You will collaborate closely with seasoned team members, gaining valuable insights into the business development process. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation and set the stage for future career advancement opportunities within Reltio

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound account engagements generated from marketing programs through all inbound channels to ensure they have a positive engagement sentiment
  • Account and contact sourcing via Market/account intelligence tools to identify buying-team personas within an account. 
  • Ability to use existing and emerging social media tools to monitor targeted accounts and buying groups
  • Schedule discovery meetings with qualified prospects and the sales team
  • Collaboration is key as you work closely with BDR, Sales. and Marketing leadership to develop strategies to optimize pipeline development processes. 
  • Driving attendance to events and supporting other sales and marketing initiatives 
  • Learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, interaction insights, and Reltio’s value proposition for key industries 
  • Maintain and append the CRM (Salesforce) and sales productivity platform with accurate and current information on account firmographics, activity levels, and stages of qualification 
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for discovery meetings held and the generation of qualified opportunities added to the sales pipeline 

Skills You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 0-1 years of experience in a sales, sales development, or customer-facing role (internship or other relevant experience preferred)
  • Strong, professional communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Some familiarity with Google Apps, Business Intelligence, LinkedIn or Salesforce.com is desirable, CRM experience is preferred and other sales productivity tools is a plus
  • Organized, good time management, ability to take direction and discipline to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented sales environment
  • ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies
  • Willingness to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Discipline and energy to maintain high outreach activity volumes working within a sales productivity platform 
  • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about what you do, enthusiastic, competitive, collaborative, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
