Business Intelligence Developer IV

Job Summary:

We’re hiring a Business Intelligence IV to develop and maintain the business intelligence framework.

Work Location:

• If you live within a 40km radius of our Mexico City office we’d like for you to work in the office two days a week.
• If further than 40km you may work fully remote from one these states Monterey, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Puebla, Guadalajara, or Queretaro.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of the Business Intelligence (BI) architecture and continually refine the BI strategy to align with corporate direction.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in extraction of information from EFD, Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Build operational and ad-hoc reports.
• Build reports that take advantage of OLAP/Dimensional Modeling capabilities.
• Build executive dashboards and corporate scorecards.
• Work with customers to define their requirements and create information delivery solutions that meet their needs utilizing “best practices.”.
• Write software in an open-source setting.
• Write and design documents.
• Review proposed software branches.
• Participates in project discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in field related to role. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• 8+ years of business intelligence experience.
• Ability to use Big Data Software Tools.
• Cloud computing experience.
• Must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) data Lake software, data mining, data modeling skills, and data virtualization.
• Experience with SQL Databases.
• Experience with Version Control Platform tools.
