Adyen is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support its global partnerships team and accelerate business growth. The role involves creating communication strategies, streamlining workflows, and improving content for partnerships. Responsibilities include managing partner payouts, validating calculations, handling ad-hoc requests, and collaborating with Finance and Engineering teams for payment processes. The specialist will also track project execution, ensure initiatives deliver desired impact, and assist in resolving blockers. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in internal communication, partnerships, or business operations within the tech industry, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively across cultures.

Business Operations Specialist 

At Adyen, a majority of deals that go live involve a partner. The Partnership’s Team vision is to accelerate the growth curve for Adyen. To help drive this vision we are seeking a Business Operations Specialist who is passionate about supporting a global team and about seeking to understand how various teams ranging from sales, implementation, product and other teams leverage partnerships with the goal to translate this understanding into effective content and education strategies and improve the way we work in order to drive our vision forward.

What You’ll do:

Communication: 

  • Create the partnership communication strategy and maintain its accuracy via our available internal communication tools.
  • Pro-actively seek to understand how teams at Adyen utilize partnerships, what information will help to increase a more streamlined way of working and which information sharing channels will be most effective.
  • Address performance issues tied to partnership content and streamline communication efforts across Adyen teams.
  • Share progress on key initiatives, enabling broader team alignment and visibility into Partnerships' impact
  • Create and maintain clear “must-knows” about individual partners to support cross-team consistency.

Data & Partner Pay outs:

  • Oversee and validate automated partner payout calculations, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Handle and standardize ad-hoc payout requests that fall outside automation.
  • Partner with the Finance and Engineering teams to map invoices correctly and support end-to-end payment signoff and audit readiness.

Project management

  • Keep track of execution across different initiatives in support of partnership teams and partnership managers. 
  • Ensure Initiatives are progressing and create the desired impact and assist in resolving blockers

Who You Are 

  • 2+ years of experience in internal communication, partnerships or business operations within the technology industry.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analytical and data-driven, with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making, storytelling and reporting
  • A Self starter who always seek to find solutions and innovative new approaches
  • Experience working confidently and effectively across multiple cultures and timezones
  • Ability to seamlessly navigate and contribute to discussions at both the senior leadership and team levels.
