Job Description

You will be assigned to a key client account to manage the daily production and delivery on automotive CGI projects for 3D models and configurator assets. You'll have responsibility for managing the jobs’ progress through the studio from initial client contact and briefing, through to costing, planning, liaising with Artists and clients, and tight scheduling for an accurate and timely delivery.
Must have:
  • Acting as primary liaison between various internal teams from both our US and UK offices
  • Following established processes to coordinate and traffic CGI projects through all departments
  • Create estimates and issue timing plans to accompany CGI projects
  • Monitor the progress and completion of projects against published timings, raising and escalating any risk items that may affect delivery
  • Work closely with CGI Studio Manager and CGI Creative Director to ensure efficient and timely delivery of all requirements
  • Lead regular project status meetings with the client and CGI production teams on your projects
  • Accurately define project scopes and generate accurate estimates
  • Deliver projects on time, under budget & free of errors
  • Maintain internal & client-facing status reports
  • Manage project files and logs according to outlined standards
  • Actively participate in process enhancement discussions
  • Maintain documentation for SME assignments re: process
  • Ability to manage complex projects with varying timelines
Good to have:
  • CGI production experience with process and program knowledge
  • PC and Mac knowledge, preferably with some knowledge of Microsoft products (primarily building spreadsheets in Excel) and Adobe Acrobat

A Hybrid working model

_This role is a fixed term contract for 14 months and we currently require an individual with a short notice period.

What does a CGI Project Producer do on at Hogarth?

You will be assigned to a key client account to manage the daily production and delivery on automotive CGI projects for 3D models and configurator assets. You'll have responsibility for managing the jobs’ progress through the studio from initial client contact and briefing, through to costing, planning, liaising with Artists and clients, and tight scheduling for an accurate and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as primary liaison between various internal teams from both our US and UK offices
  • Following established processes to coordinate and traffic CGI projects through all departments
  • Create estimates and issue timing plans to accompany CGI projects
  • Monitor the progress and completion of projects against published timings, raising and escalating any risk items that may affect delivery
  • Work closely with CGI Studio Manager and CGI Creative Director to ensure efficient and timely delivery of all requirements
  • Lead regular project status meetings with the client and CGI production teams on your projects
  • Accurately define project scopes and generate accurate estimates (establish baseline in first quarter and then set goals for improvement in subsequent quarters/halves)
  • Deliver projects on time, under budget & free of errors
  • Maintain internal & client-facing status reports
  • Manage project files and logs according to outlined standards
  • Actively participate in process enhancement discussions
  • Maintain documentation for SME assignments re: process
  • Ability to manage complex projects with varying timelines

Requirements

  • Experience working experience as a Project Manager/Producer within CGI or the Automotive industry
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to juggle work for multiple projects at once
  • A positive communicator, able to coordinate internal teams positively and confidently
  • Pragmatic and analytically minded, you can adapt to changing deadlines and briefs, predict potential issues and problem solve
  • Experience of working within a project management environment
  • CGI production experience with process and program knowledge is a strong plus
  • PC and Mac knowledge, preferably with some knowledge of Microsoft products (primarily building spreadsheets in Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Creative problem solving abilities
  • Experience using Project Management systems such as Asana, JIRA, and Trello
  • Working knowledge in softwares such as 3D Model, 3dsMax, Maya, Nuke, Vray, Unreal, and Render (From a PM standpoint)
